Production setup guide (free-tier friendly)

Checklist before wrangler deploy, dashboard deploy, and GitHub Actions secrets.

1. Cloudflare (required — you already have this)

ItemCostAction
Cloudflare accountFreeWorkers + D1 + DO on your account
Worker deployPay-as-you-go (generous free tier)pnpm --filter worker deploy
D1 migrationsIncludedApply all apps/worker/db/*.sql including 0163_marketplace_audits.sql
Dashboard (Vercel)Free hobby tierSet env vars below

Worker secrets (Wrangler / CF dashboard → Settings → Variables):

# Core (from onboarding / provision)
JWT secrets, API keys, ALLOWED_ORIGINS=https://app.fluxychat.com,...

# PG-ZB-7 MCP audit webhook (CI → Worker)
MARKETPLACE_AUDIT_HMAC_SECRET=<openssl rand -hex 32>

# PG-ZB-10 LiveKit (see section 3)
LIVEKIT_API_KEY=
LIVEKIT_API_SECRET=
LIVEKIT_URL=wss://...

GitHub repository secrets (for MCP audit CI):

SecretValue
WORKER_AUDIT_WEBHOOK_URLhttps://<your-worker>/internal/marketplace/audit-result
WORKER_AUDIT_HMAC_SECRETSame string as MARKETPLACE_AUDIT_HMAC_SECRET

No third-party account needed for mcp-audit — it runs in GitHub Actions via adudley78/setup-mcp-audit@v1 (OSS).

2. MCP marketplace audit (free — no signup)

What it does: CI scans examples/mcp/* with mcp-audit, posts grade to D1, shows badge in console.

Accounts needed: None. Only GitHub + your Worker.

Steps:

  1. Apply D1 migration 0163_marketplace_audits.sql
  2. Set MARKETPLACE_AUDIT_HMAC_SECRET on Worker
  3. Set GitHub secrets WORKER_AUDIT_WEBHOOK_URL + WORKER_AUDIT_HMAC_SECRET
  4. Push to main or run workflow MCP marketplace audit manually

Verify: Marketplace → MCP Apps → apps show Audit A–F badge after CI runs.

3. LiveKit voice (free options)

WebRTC SFU runs outside Workers. Pick one:

Option A — LiveKit Cloud free tier (easiest)

  1. Sign up at cloud.livekit.io (free tier: limited participant minutes)
  2. Create a project → copy API Key, API Secret, WebSocket URL (wss://…livekit.cloud)
  3. Set Worker secrets:
    LIVEKIT_API_KEY=APIxxxxx
    LIVEKIT_API_SECRET=xxxxxxxx
    LIVEKIT_URL=wss://your-project.livekit.cloud
  4. Token mint: POST /admin/calls/token with member JWT (already wired via livekit-token.js)
  5. Client: useLiveKitToken from @fluxy-chat/react + livekit-client npm package

No VPS. Good for beta / demos.

Option B — Self-hosted LiveKit (free software, ~€5 VPS optional)

  1. On any Linux host (Hetzner CX11, Fly.io, local Docker):
    cd examples/livekit
    cp .env.example .env # set LIVEKIT keys (generate with livekit-server generate-keys)
    docker compose up -d
  2. Point LIVEKIT_URL=wss://livekit.yourdomain.com (TLS via Caddy/nginx or Cloudflare Tunnel)
  3. Same Worker secrets as Option A

Accounts: None for OSS; optional VPS provider.

Option C — Skip voice SFU for now

Worker returns a stub token when LIVEKIT_* unset. Text pipeline (useVoice simulation) still works on /voice-ai.

What it does: No-code CRM/helpdesk flows; FluxyChat webhooks as triggers.

Embed iframe: Activepieces embedding is an enterprise feature. FluxyChat opens the self-hosted studio in a new tab (zero-budget). See docs/integrations/activepieces.md.

Self-host (MIT, free)

  1. VPS + subdomain (e.g. automation.fluxychat.com)
  2. Clone activepieces/activepieces, configure .env (AP_FRONTEND_URL, AP_ENCRYPTION_KEY, AP_JWT_SECRET, Postgres/Redis)
  3. docker compose up -d + HTTPS reverse proxy (Caddy)
  4. Dashboard env:
    NEXT_PUBLIC_ACTIVEPIECES_URL=https://automation.yourdomain.com
  5. Settings → Automation integrationsOpen automation studio
  6. Import FluxyChat piece from examples/integrations/activepieces/src/

API key: Activepieces Platform Admin → Security → API Keys (for piece actions, not dashboard embed).

FluxyChat webhooks: Console → Webhooks → Activepieces webhook trigger URL; verify X-Fluxy-Signature.

5. Dashboard env (Vercel / local)

NEXT_PUBLIC_FLUXYCHAT_WORKER_URL=https://api.yourdomain.com
NEXT_PUBLIC_DOCS_URL=https://docs.fluxychat.com
NEXT_PUBLIC_ACTIVEPIECES_URL=https://automation.yourdomain.com # optional, section 4 — opens in new tab
# Clerk, Stripe, etc. — existing onboarding vars

6. Kotlin Multiplatform mobile (Maven Central)

Package: packages/sdk-kmp/ — shared WebSocket client for Android / iOS.

Publish to Maven Central: requires Sonatype account + GPG signing. Full guide: docs/integrations/maven-central-publish.md.

GitHub secrets (for tag sdk-v*):

SecretSource
OSSRH_USERSonatype Central Portal user token
OSSRH_PASSSonatype Central Portal token password
GPG_KEYArmored private GPG key
GPG_PASSGPG passphrase
git tag sdk-v1.0.0
git push origin sdk-v1.0.0

Local build (optional):

cd packages/sdk-kmp
gradle :shared:jvmTest

7. Deploy order

  1. D1 migrations (all pending SQL)
  2. wrangler secret put MARKETPLACE_AUDIT_HMAC_SECRET
  3. LiveKit secrets (if using voice)
  4. wrangler deploy
  5. GitHub secrets for MCP audit CI
  6. Dashboard deploy with env vars
  7. Smoke: /compare, /marketplace MCP tab, /voice-ai, /settings/integrations
  8. Phase 6 execution: docs/operations/post-launch-checklist.md

8. What you do not need for Phase 2
