Hybrid data plane

Self-host is the data plane: your Cloudflare account, your D1, your room Durable Objects, MIT Worker in this repo. Hosted console and keys on fluxychat.com are a separate control plane and stay beta. There is no product SKU today that means “we operate your Worker while you keep the account.”

What exists as ops, not as a sold hybrid:

• Deploy the Worker with Wrangler / the in-repo Terraform sketches.
• Mint fc_ on your Worker. The hosted dashboard talks to its Worker URL.

If you want that split later, the contract is: customer account = rooms + messages; we would only ship console + updates. Do not advertise that until it is a path you can buy.

See Self-host.
