FluxyChat

How-to Guides

Room agent token cap

Operator monthly token budget on a room. Not Stripe billing of your customers.

Room agent token cap

Each room can refuse new invokeAgent turns after a monthly token total from agent_runs. Set it from Rooms → Advanced → Room insights (owner or admin JWT) or:

GET /rooms/:roomId/agent-budget
PUT /rooms/:roomId/agent-budget
Authorization: Bearer <jwt>
Content-Type: application/json

{ "monthlyTokenBudget": 500000, "enabled": true }

PUT is owner/admin. GET is any room member. Empty cap means agents are uncapped.

The USD line on the same panel is a Cloudflare Worker usage estimate for that room. It is not an invoice and it is not Stripe metering of your customers' customers.

Optional: set STRIPE_AGENT_METER_EVENT_NAME plus STRIPE_SECRET_KEY so completed invokeAgent turns report token totals to your Stripe Billing Meter, keyed by project_plans.stripe_customer_id. That is usage for the FluxyChat tenant, not for their users.

Dashboard

Collab project overview already showed this panel. It now also sits on Rooms → Advanced, so operators do not have to leave the rooms page.
